Bam Margera
October, Saturday 25th...
Skin.(skater store?)
King of Prussia Mall.
Bam Margera Appearance.
We got to the mall at about 2:30, very excited and hyper with the fact that we would be in Bam's presence in less then 2 hours..We walked through Nordstrom, and the store was packed! There was what looked like a make-up testing thing going on. We pushed and shoved out way out of the store in finally into the main part of the mall. We couldn't find the store Skin, because, it was a new store and well, I wasn't a skater.
We started walking in what we thought was the right direction, until we thought we had gone to far, so we doubled back and asked someone who worked in a store where it was. Turns out we were going in the right direction!
So when we finally got there, my friend, my sisters, my little brother, and my mom, stood in a line that looked as long as the one at the My Chem concert.. We wanted to get there earlier, so as to get in a better place in line, but things just never seem to work out that way..
We stood at the back of the line, and I had to go to the bathroom, so my family and friend saved my place in line..
There was even a line for the bathroom!
When I got back we hadn't moved at all.. The signing was supposed to start at three o'clock.. It was 2:50.. Why was waiting so hard?
My friend and I walked up to the store to get ten dollar pictures to sign. When we got up there, photographers were outside of the store taking pictures of this motorcycle looking bike that I couldn't care less about.
But, anyway, Bam wasn't there yet..
We got back in line and waiting about 20 more minutes.. Bam was late. Maybe he got stuck in traffic? It was raining heavily outside, and it took my mom about 10 minutes just to find a parking space.. My little brother was complaining about how thirsty he was (he is only 3 years old), so I offered, stupidly, to take him to the water fountain that was near the bathroom..
My friend was also thirsty so she accompanied me, also stupidly, to the water fountain. So everything was fine, we came back from the fountain, thirsts quenched, and my mom my sisters looked at us like they knew something that we didn't.
They did..
"You just missed Bam walk by." My mom said.
What? I thought... Apparently ,when me and my friend were at that stupid water fountain, Bam walked by the crowd. My mom said that she could tell that he was a little nervous because he was pretending to be in deep conversation with the person he was walking with... I do the same thing when I'm nervous..
So, we waited for about another hour, while the mall security guards, kept moving us from one side of the hall , to the other..
Finally we were about to be in the store, and I was freaking out..
I love Bam, very, very much, and I'm also very shy about new people, so meeting Bam, was going to be nerve-wracking. I was fidgeting and biting my nails (I NEVER do that), my heart was racing, I could feel my knees buckling. The worst part about it was, that I knew acting that way was kind of ridiculous, he was just a person.. Right? Nope.
We were finally in the store and me and my friend were squealing and giggling.. I spotted one of the people I thought were security guards laughing at us.. We were second to next in line and the only thing between my line of sight and Bam was a clothes rack.. I'm short, so I started getting up on my tip-toes, peeking over the top of it.. One of my sisters actually started jumping up and down (she's shorter then me) my friend was also struggling to see him.
All of the commotion must have attracted his attention because he looked right over at all of us, acting like crazed fans. We jumped and immediately stopped acting like lunatics.
There were T-shirts that he designed for people to buy, but we couldn't get one..
We were a bit disappointed that he was wearing his sunglasses, but then my friend whispered:
"Oh my god, he just took his glasses off!" He had lifted his glasses from his face and I'm almost positive he heard us squeal that time. He was so beautiful!
Unfortunately, the glasses went right back to were they came from, concealing his eyes. Later when we complained about it, my mom reasoned that the flashing of all of the cameras probably bothered his eyes.
I also wondered if he got writer's cramp from signing all of those pictures.
Anyway, we were now next in line and every part of my body was shaking.. So scared!
We were finally at the front and I thought I was about to faint.. We stood waiting for him to finish his conversation with the woman that he had just taken a picture with, so I got to just stare a t him for about 15 seconds. He was so cute, and charming.. Even his voice was cute! He was wearing a hoodie under a jacket and a hat under the hood. I was wondering how he wasn't burning up under all of those clothes, because I was already sweating, it was freaking hot! He was also wearing one of his shirts that the designed himself.. It read: 'I'm gay, you're gay, and your dad's a faggot'..I took that as him coming out. Hehe. He said goodbye to the woman, and looked at us..
I think I said 'hi' about about three times, my voice getting squeakier every time, but my friend was saying 'hi' at the same time, so I don't think he noticed.
We put our pictures on the table in front of him, and since my friend is waaayyy more outgoing then I am, she asked for him to autograph them... He did, beautifully.. I love his autograph.. Then my friend, asked if we could take pictures with him, because again, I thought if I opened my mouth, nothing would come out. So she gave me her camera phone, went up to Bam.. He put his arms around her waist and she put her arm around his shoulders.. They both smiled, Bam, with his pretty little teeth.
I struggled to take the picture, because my hands were shaking so badly. Then I took picture of them with my digital camera, and my hands were more steady on that one.. Although both of the pictures came out very clear.
Then it was my turn to take a picture with him. I gave my friend my camera and walked around the table next to Bam..
"HIM fan, huh?" He said.. He had noticed my shirt, it had a huge heartagram on the front.
"Yeah!" I said Very happy that he noticed it.
He asked me if I liked CKY.. I said yes, (I actually have heard their stuff, and they're really good).
"Well, they're playing on Halloween, I'm gonna be there."
"Cool." Was all I could say in response.
He put his arm around my shoulders, and I put mine around his waist.. He was firm, squishy and cuddly and warm, all at the same time. He smelled heavenly, I would've pressed my nose to him and sniffed deeply, but, that might have looked just a bit too weird. My friend was having trouble with my camera, so I had to pull away to help her. She got the hang of it and I went back to cuddle with Bam again.. So warm!
So, I got my picture with him, and took pictures of my sisters with him.. He also signed things for them too.
My baby brother really likes Bam on the TV, but he was too shy to get a picture, I didn't blame him.
We said thank-you and left the store.. As soon as we got out of the store, we stopped to look at the pictures..
We were squealing and giggling about the experience the whole way out of the mall..
By the way.. I'm getting my autographed picture laminated..
